Thank you all. My birthday was fraught with tension, but I did manage to stop for a few hours in a small touristy town north of Budapest. Then I was on to Bratislava by car for a nice tour of the city.
I'm home now, with over 5,000 photos and notebooks stuffed full of notes, receipts, and maps. I'm working on college enrollment things at the moment, but soon I'll be editing photos and posting some in F&G. Croatia, in particular, was mesmerizing. I've never been anywhere so beautiful.
