Waywards, what were some of the most extraordinary things you did to hide the affair?

My XWW, on her 3rd betrayal, told me she was taking a math class at the local JC. She had to go to 'math lab' every Saturday. After a few Saturdays I checked and there was no math lab at all. Clever girl.

Deleting texts from my phone. Ironic considering he found out by the phone bill itself. 
It wasn't exactly "extraordinary lengths" because with our opposing work schedules I didn't have to invent excuses for where I was or what I did during the day, but obviously I omitted what I *was* doing, so that too. Deleting messages and hiding my affair activities during the day.

Wh didn’t have to do anything extraordinary. Yes he deleted everything’s Big off his phone but since he met her once every three weeks, in a car, he just said he either stayed later at work or stuck in traffic. I never suspected.
There was never a reason to not believe the traffic story as he never stayed with her longer than a half hour and being a half hour late in traffic is always possible from where he was coming from.
Then they would talk on the phone all the way home, all the time. Most of the a was via telephone.

My fWW created a new email address, then only communicated with that email in "incognito mode" on her web browser on her phone, or the computers. When he asked for videos, he walked her through creating a Drop Box. Again, only accessed in incognito mode. All pictures were deleted off her phone after being sent. When they talked via cell phone, she deleted the calls from her history (he used google voice) The one thing she did not count on was that at the time, we did not have an unlimited cell plan, so one month I got an alert that we were using most of our minutes. I went into the bill, which I rarely did to make sure it was not our youngest son using all the minutes and found a ton of calls to and from her to another state that happened when she left for work and when she came home. I caught her shortly after that.
