WOW!!!! That is AWESOME news!!!
One of my friends had something similar- a deep melanoma on his shoulder. They cut it out and got it all- this was YEARS ago- and he's had no problems since!

Thought, Yeah... that's what I'm hoping happened here. I still have to go through the second part of this i.e. excision, node biopsy and possibly a cocktail of meds like (Interferon etc..) but getting a negative on the pet scan was a HUGE hurtle to get past.
