I had bloodwork on the 27th, my numbers were perfect. My progesterone was 2x as high as it was with my daughter. I actually had symptoms with this one, unlike my first 2 first trimesters. I feel pregnant, you know? No spotting, cramping.

Oh Jana,

I'm sorry.

I miscarried on Christmas day 1999, my first. I got pregnant again and my due date was Christmas 2000. My beautiful baby girl was born a little early but healthy.

Jana,

You have to think positive until you know otherwise. These dates are not a science, even when they should be! You are still early on and it is entirely possible the heartbeat is there but they haven't heard it for whatever reasons, including the position of the baby! Please don't give up hope based upon past experience. Think positive, visualize a healthy baby, and don't give up! Think of all the women who give birth and didn't know they were pregnant!! I know you don't want to get your hopes up because of your past experience, but you can't give up hope solely based upon that. My thoughts are with you.

Sending you big positive thoughts. Until the doctor tells you otherwise, we can hang on to some hope that things are going to be ok.
