Interesting theory BSR. I had a feeling Dany wouldn't make it to the end.

Tyrion is a Targaryen, for sure. Jamie is going to kill Cersei.

Please share how you think Tyrion could be Targaryen. His father loathed him and his mother died during childbirth. Cercei has mentioned more than once that he killed their mother.

I believe Arya will be killing Cersei with another face, possibly Jamie's.

A lot of the support for Tyrion as a Targaryen is in the books, though some of it appears in the show.

1. Tyrion is described by George RR Martin as having white-blond hair. All the Lannisters have golden hair; it's the Targaryens who have silver hair. This is a minor detail, but hair color is a major plot point in determining Joffrey's paternity in season 1, so it probably isn't a throwaway observation.

2. Tywin says something to Tyrion along the lines of "Men's laws require me to allow you to bear my colors because I cannot prove you are not mine." He then goes on to insist that Tyrion will never inherit Casterly Rock. It may be that this isn't about him being a dwarf, but about him not being Tywin's son.

3. Somewhere in those thousands of pages, I feel like there was a reference to Aerys being attracted to Tywin's wife, Joanna. My hypothesis is that Aerys raped her.

4.Tyrion dreamed of dragons as a child and is still the only person other than Jon and Dany whom they have allowed to touch them. In Tyrion's case, it was in the cellar under Meereen, when he broke their chains. (Drogon allowed other people to ride him as part of a rescue, though.)

I think Jaime will kill Cersei to stop her from doing something heinous, the same way he killed the Mad King. I further speculate that he'll die saving Brienne, but mostly just because I think that would be awesome, not because I can cite any proof.

Brienne Of Tarth....I have to say that scene made me cry a little.

Brienne is one of my favorite characters! The whole seen was great, especially Tormond.

HT and I were talking about the fact that you could tell she was trying to see if they were making fun of her at first. It was touching that she put her trust into Jamie.

Thank you for the info BSR. I did not recall the reference to Tyrion's hair being white-blond. I remember Tywin telling Tyrion he will not inherit Casterly Rock, but I had the impression he despised Tyrion for being a dwarf and being the cause of Joanna's death. I just can't imagine they would go there with only two episodes left and still waiting for Dany's reaction of the latest revealed Targaryen.

Was anyone else thrilled to see Theon come back and ask to fight for the North and the way Sansa ran to him? Theon has had quite a journey and I'd love to see him survive. Sansa deserves to finally have someone in her life that doesn't hurt her.

I loved the scene with Sansa and Theon. Unfortunately, I think it spells his death. He gets his dignity and honor back so he can die a noble death.

Yes, Martin definitely uses snow as a metaphor for Jon. There's also a line in the books where Melisandre is asking the Red God for a vision of Azor Azai, expecting to see Stannis, and is frustrated that all she can see is snow.

I'm really perplexed by the Red God, btw. His followers have real power, but if he's a good guy, why all the appreciation for human sacrifice? I have a feeling that this is going to be a major loose end in the HBO series, which annoys me, because I no longer believe Martin is going to finish the books. (I actually feel sorry for him. He doesn't seem particularly likeable IRL, but the pressure of writer's block on a stage this enormous must be both scary and humiliating.)

Prediction: BH pointed out the devastating mistake of sending the women and children down to the Winterfell crypt for safety. The Night King's major power is his ability to raise the dead. Watch for the Kings of the North to burst out of their tombs and slaughter the innocents. Farewell, Gilly and little Sam!

Was anyone else disappointed with last night's episode? It was just so dark, and with the shakey camera action, I couldn't figure out what was going on or who was fighting half of the time!

I agree. It was very confusing. Didn’t have a clue who survived and who didn’t. Read about it this morning. Don’t have a clue how some of them made it when they showed several of our heroes down for the count. And the end for the Night King? What were all his Generals doing that allowed Arya to slip in undetected? Disappointed in some of it, but glad a lot of them are still with us.

I understand the creative choice to make so many of those early moments -- they were trying to put the audience in the confusing fog of war with the characters.

On that level, I get it. But I agree it was still more frustrating than cool to watch.

Other than that, I thought it was a fantastic episode.

I'm leaving out more spoilers for now until more people get to catch up on the show.

BH read an article in why it was so dark (literally, as in you couldn't see what was happening). Apparently, they used editing software that's designed for movies, where the projectors have a very bright light. Even in their test screenings, which were on televisions, they used very large and high end TVs. So apparently, they had no idea how hard it was going to be for the average home viewer to follow the action.

I'm getting really disappointed with this season. The A-list characters are Teflon, surrounded by insurmountable odds and surviving unscathed. We get long, poignant pauses in the fighting so each B-list character can die prettily. The Night King and all his henchmen are offed at their first stop on the trip south. Cersei played them all like violins.

I dunno. I hoped for more.

At least Endgame delivered!

I have been hearing all the complaints about how dark the video was. I was prepared. We have a 65 inch smart TV and I turned off all the lights in the house while I was watching. It was like being at the movies. I thought it was a fantastic experience. The way they played up the tension - I was literally yelling at the actors when they were about to do something stupid.

I cried several times and the ending made me cheer and do a fist pump!

I loved it and can't wait for the next episode.

Overall, yes, enjoying the season. It is somewhat bittersweet to know it wraps up so soon.

I am looking forward to this week as it supposedly sets the scene for a battle as big or bigger than what we just saw in week five.

I agree that the latest episode was literally too dark, but I watched it a second time turning up the brightness on the TV and it was better.

There were so many questions I had, like the wights/dead were killed by either dragon glass or valerian steel, so how could the night king raise them again? I understand raising those who were in the crypt....

I also wonder how many of the army survived. It seemed like almost all of the Dothraki perished and Grey Worm closed the trenches and sacrificed a large portion of the Unsullied.

I wonder, too, after this big battle if the other kingdoms will join in the fray, like the Tyrells who were forced from their castle, what's left of Dorne (who's ruling there now?), Hardcastle is Sam's now, Catlyn's River Running (?) etc. The Freys are dead. Cersei has 20,000 mercenaries plus Euron's fleet. Theon's sister is still holding the Iron Island. A lot of things can come into play.

Arya, realizing that the baby will be killed and the kingdoms plunged back into war, takes Jon's face. She gives her own image to Jon's body so that it will be buried in the Stark crypt under her own statue. She lives out the rest of her life as her niece/nephew's father, in a perfect parallel to Ned raising his nephew as his own son.

I like this theory, BraveSirRobin. Quite interesting. I also think that Tyrion is a Targaryen. It has been speculated that his mother had an affair with one of Danys' brothers and that is why Tywin kept saying to Tyrion that he wasn't his son.

My theory is that Dany will die during childbirth, Jon will die in battle. Tyrion, as hand of the queen, will rule for Jon and Dany's baby until the baby comes of age. The prophesy for Cersei is that she would die from the hand of her younger brother and she always thought it would be Tyrion, but it would be Jamie who would become "Queenslayer", but Jamie will die too, maybe from Euron.

Although Jamie and Brienne respect one another deeply and care about each other, they won't end up together. (OMG I LOVED that scene when he knighted her!!! It was the first time in her life where she felt safe. She saw that everyone there in that room were not making fun of her and respected her and she finally had a SMILE)

I don't know if Brienne will make it to the end. I hope she does. I love the comic relief of how Tormund has such a crush on her!!

The "Mountain" and the "Hound" will probably have a big battle between them, hopefully the Hound will win (Maybe Arya will kill the Mountain?)

I am hoping Sir Davos will survive to the end (another one of my favorites) Greyworm will die in Misandre's arms. I pray Sam, Gilly and little Sam live happily ever after, but this is not a show for happily ever after. I can't even begin to predict what will happen to Sansa and Arya. Sansa will probably stay in Winterfell and hold the north, still wanting it to be independent.

A lot of questions to be answered!!

The Night King raised the freshly dead soldiers, didn't he? Not the destroyed wights?

All the Tyrells are dead. Most of them died in the explosion at the Great Sept, and then Olenna was poisoned by Jaime. I'm not sure who inherits Highgarden now. Bronn was angling for it when he pointed out that Jaime still owed him a castle. Maybe Tyrion will give it to him as payment for not using that crossbow.

I guess Edmure is still the heir to Riverrun, but if Dany wins, he'll be in trouble for siding with the Lannisters. The next in line would be Sansa, but she'll probably hold on at Winterfell. Maybe she gives it back to Edmure? Or Robert Arryn inherits it through Lysa? Or it's another castle for Bronn, because technically Tyrion owes him two castles in order to double Cersei's price?

I have no idea what's up in Dorne, as all the Martells are dead, too. I guess Oberyn's mistress (I can't remember her name) may still be alive and watching her daughter literally rot in prison, but she's not at home defending her usurped throne.

What if Missandei was not telling Dany to burn them, but warning her about fire? Just a thought. Cersei has used those means before to kill her enemies.
