I clicked on this and started reading without noting the date. I thought we were discussing last night's premier, and a favorite character death was mentioned - I was like "WHAT? I must have missed something!" Then I noticed it was last year's thread. DUH!

The season opener last night was - epic! And talk about a cliff hanger - can't wait for next Sunday night.

If I had to guess (which I do) that horn was the kid. At least they want me to think that.

Either way, it's a whole lot of zombies, so you know there will be epic killing going down.

They stocked up on new characters too. Just makes you wonder who is gonna be out of a job this season.

If you keep asking people to give you the benefit of the doubt, they will eventually start to doubt your benefit.

Don't mess with Carol

No one changes unless they want to. Not if you beg them. Not if you shame them. Not if you use reason, emotion, or tough love. There is only one thing that makes someone change: their own realization that they need to.

I'm devastated. I can't believe I'm so invested in these characters.

I was absolutely devastated last night.

Then this morning, HT is seeing that there is a theory that he may make it out of this. They made it a point to show that the body would be on top of him when they landed. Plus he screamed for an awful long time to be having his guts eaten. Plus, if you smell like a dead guy, they seem to not give you much notice.

Hope? Idk.

I would be willing to set aside how unrealistic it is and embrace the magic of TV to see him make it through somehow.

DS 15 had a couple of theories about this...that put my little WD heart at rest He said that he thought it was possible for Glenn to be caught in a daze and "dreaming" all of this happened...which led to the theory that the whole WD series is a dream that Rick is having, while in the coma. Second, and more likely, theory is that the D-Bag fell on Glenn, thereby shielding him from the walkers and covering him in blood and/or also cutting the zombies and their "scent" getting on Glenn. Then, he is able to get away. I really hope this is true! Especially since they didn't have him on Talking Dead, last night.

Here's another thing to consider.... where did the bullet Nick used come from if they were out of ammo?

I think walkers are eating Nick, Rick's gunfire will distract herd, and somehow Glenn makes it under the dumpster or up the stairs.

What are you pretending not to know?

I really liked this episode. We definitely needed the backstory on Morgan to understand his current point of view. However, I still wanted him to kill the wolf character.
