Been on this bus for a while now......starting to get comfortable but worried I may become part of the furniture! So before anyone sits down make sure it's a seat and not an IgglePiggle! Can we detour around a few microbrewerys?

I'll slip in beside you IP if that's ok. We'll have a drink, check out the microbreweries and I promise not to let anyone sit on you.

Well, it's been at least 7 months now, so I guess I can bring my duffelbag on board. I am not remotely interested at the moment. Plus, I have two small kids and live with my parents at age 40

I have been on the bus so long now if I ever get off I might cause the old guy to have a heart attack. Maybe I should get a young guy and work my way up.

Somehow I have missed this thread. It's been over 8 months for me. So I guess I might as well climb aboard and enjoy the ride. I'm not super picky but a martini sounds good right now

Welcome aboard all newbies. Plenty of the room on the bus for everyone. Not a bad seat or drink in the house. Nekorb is an excellent driver and knows where everything is. Just tell her where you want to go and she will head that direction. Sorry you missed the Bunny Foo Foo drinks, but I think we were going by some microbreweries soon. I forget where else we were going after that, but we always have a great time wherever we are.

Thank you, TrustGone, for issuing the welcomes!

Yes, we are currently hitting some microbreweries on our way to Washington DC for the cherry blossoms.

Any other requests for stops or side tours are welcome.

I've been thinking of adding a second "car" to the bus...kind of like a train...so that we could have a lounge area besides our seats with a bar and a grill. I wouldn't mind a table for cards, maybe a jigsaw puzzle or two....Thoughts?

I'd add another level to our current bus, but with the reading room up top, I think we'd get too top heavy.

So, this is some kind of luxury bus, not your average Greyhound. Is it catered, or do we stop for meals?

Martinis until we get to the next brewery:

Nekorb, I really like the idea of a lounge area. Jigsaw puzzles would be fun....slow on the curves though, so we don't lose all the pieces!!

At this point, I've been on the bus so long I not only own it, I'm on my way to an entire fleet of buses as well. I wonder if I could lease them out?

Be careful what you wish for the most - you may get it.

Looks like I will be on the bus a while longer and I can't drink the bunny foo foo's or enjoy the brewery. Damn!!! I am glad you stepped off. Hopefully you never have to get back on.
