I didn't find SI until 2 years after Dday, so I did most things wrong. So, I WAS S2S. Actually for a loooong time after that too!

And since he has been at it again (I have never posted my story. I will get it soon. ) my name still fits me!

I think mine is pretty obvious, as well. HT was understandably pretty angry and most everything that came out of my mouth at the time made things worse. I had no idea how much he disliked my username until we were in a better place. By then people started calling me WOES and that has stuck pretty well.

I don’t walk on eggshells or feel woe-ful anymore, but I can’t imagine changing my username at this point. We have been here almost 10 years now!

If you keep asking people to give you the benefit of the doubt, they will eventually start to doubt your benefit.

Mines is something I've used for quite a long time. Anyone who knows me, from any part of my life, will recognize the tag. I was symbolic for me once (though the reason its spyder, and not spider is because I had to be "cool". On a forum in my youth.)

But we post in a digital medium and you don't notice spiders until they make themselves known...

Brave Sir Robin is a character in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." Ironically, he's the craven knight, the one who talks a good game about courage and honesty but flees at the first sign of real confrontation. I was struggling to end my trickle truth when I arrived here, after many years of lies and rugsweeping, so it seemed like an apt handle.

BSR I can't tell you how many times I've started singing the Brave Sir Robin song when I see your name

When I made a discovery of “performance enhancing” pills, my first thought, honest to goodness, was Dana Carvey as the Church Lady saying, “Well, isn’t that special.” (Youngsters here can YouTube it: Saturday Night Live.) So, with a bit of self-deprecation, I’m oh so special. Of course, I didn’t think that OSS isn’t such a great abbreviation. Oh well. I think I’ll refer to my husband as not so special. I may be on the trail of discovering he’s just a regular cheater.

Aka... Broken Arrow

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds

A fallen angel

The broken arrow

She comforts me and eased my troubled mind

Shine a light out

Into the shadows

All the world they made me leave behind

Leave me peace I'm on the side of the angels

And if I die in a dream then

Let me live my life

But all lies they have told me

They make me wanna shiver

When I'm lost and I'm lonely

And that's not gonna ease my troubled mind

She wrote it over

A misty morning

Set the sail for where the four winds blow

She's a siren and I'm a warning

I'm here to say I never told you so

Leave me peace I'm on the side of the angels

If I die in a dream then

Let me live my life

But all the lies that they have told me

They make me wanna shiver

When I'm lost and I'm lonely

That's not gonna ease my troubled mind

Leave me peace I'm all alone with my angel

She's dying in a dream

So I could live my life

But all the lies that they have told me

They make me wanna shiver

When I'm lost and I'm lonely

And that's not gonna ease my troubled mind

That's not gonna ease my troubled mind

A fallen angel

A broken arrow

She comforts me and eased my troubled mind

Shine a light out

Into the shadows

All the world they made me leave behind
