DISCLAIMER 07/10/08: This thread is outdated. Most, if not all of the codes no longer work. I apologize for not maintaining this thread. However, if and when any new codes should become available, I will post them on a separate thread (until I can update this one).

I'm trying to keep all the codes on one thread. It'll be easier to update this way. Please post or pm any new codes, or codes that NO LONGER WORK and I'll revise the thread.

All codes require the friend ID #. If you do not know the friend ID number, find it here:

"Right click" on the profile picture on their introduction page. Click "properties". Another window will open. Enlarge it. Under "Address:", you'll see a long URL. At the end will be "friendID=xxxxxxx". The numbers in place of the "x's" is the friend ID #.

Replace the xxxx's in each code with the friend ID #.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE CODES:

Open two internet windows. This page (Active Codes thread) in one, and MySpace in the other. Log-in (for codes that require you to be logged-in) your MySpace account. If you do not have a MySpace account, check the "Services" thread for SI members who do.

Copy whichever code you want to try from this thread, and paste it into the internet address bar of the MySpace window. Replace the xxxxx's with the friend ID # and hit "enter".

TO ENLARGE THE PICTURE ON THE INTRODUCTION PAGE OF MYSPACE PROFILES:

Right click on the picture. Select "properties". Another window will open, enlarge it. Copy the "location" URL. Paste the URL into an internet address bar window. After the last backslash (/) in the URL, you will see either an "s" (small), or "m" (medium). Replace the "s" or "m" to "l" (large) and hit "enter". It will enlarge the picture. USEFUL SITE FOR MYSPACE PROFILES (Please read!):

This only works on PUBLIC profiles, however, you can see the intro page of private profiles without actually going through MySpace. It will also supposedly tell you if a public profile has a tracker.

It may show PRIVATE pictures on a PUBLIC profile.

It may show PUBLIC pictures on a PRIVATE profile.

To view comments on pictures on a PUBLIC profile:

Log in MySpace, and using www.hideinthesky.com/ms/

Click and drag each picture into your address bar. You can view picture comments.

If you are looking at the comments from a friend on a myspace page and want to look at their page as well i.e. to see what has written back, you can click on the profile but that will take you straight to myspace and we don't want to do that! INSTEAD...

1. Right click on the name above the photo of the person (click the right mouse button)

2. Choose Properties (last option on the grey menu that pops down). The number of the myspace page will then appear. For example:

index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=123456

3. Copy the number by highlighting it and pressing Ctrl C (or writing down on paper!)

4. Go back to the hideinthesky page and press CTRL V for paste and there you have it! (veryveryxow)

You have to be logged in for this to work. It's actually a code that's supposed to let you see blog titles on private profiles.

But an added benefit is, if you look to the left of the screen, you can see their relationship status.

FOR FIREFOX USERS--VIEW HIDDEN PARTS OF PUBLIC PROFILES:

You can go up to the top of your page under "View", click on "Page style" then choose "No style"

That will make it a plain white page, and it will show all of the hidden elements. (his#1)

In the Google search bar, type:

cache:profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=XXXXXXX

This is a hit or miss code that may bring up older profiles, before they became private.

View PRIVATE profiles using a mobile device or *possibly* a PC:

You have to be logged in for this to work.

-To view Myspace private profile comments using a MOBILE device (blackberry or cell with web access), on your mobile device or on your PC (after following the instructions for accessing Myspace Mobile on a PC that can be found below) Go to:

http://mobile.myspace.com

-Once logged in, click on 'My Profile' and then 'Comments'. Grab the URL. Mine looked like this:

http://mobile.myspace.com/domestic/premium/pictures/pictures.wap?(string of numbers, letters, and symbols)&friendid=XXXXXXX&useimages=True

-Change the FriendID from yours to that of your target.

-If you don't have a blackberry or cell with internet access, you can possibly view the same information using your PC with Firefox as your browser, and an add-on. Here's that information:

-Install this add on to make myspacemobile work on a pc:

-Restart Firefox to finish the installation of the addon.

-After it's installed click on "Tools" while in Firefox and then click on "addons".

-Scroll down to the wmlbrowser addon and click on options in the wmlbrowser options box, check the first box, click ok and close the box.

-In Firefox go to "mobile.myspace.com", login, and that should do it. (twisted_angel)

hurtbs, you *may* be able to see private blogs TITLES (only) on a private profile, using the "relationship status" code.

Do I do a search bt zip code or state or what?

If you know her email address you can do a search in myspace on email address. This is easiest way I've found.

Or you can enter zip code and other info like female, height, body type, . . . and it will narrow down. Depending on where she lives, you may have a lot to go through. If you know what she looks like and she has a pic, you can scan the pics somewhat quickly.

You can also do a MySpace "search by name". OW in my case comes up with a search of her first and last name.

eta: If you try ImSoTired's tip, use the "Browse" section of MS, then "Advanced".
