I'm reading 33 A D.
It was 2.99 for the Kindle, what can I say?
The concept:
Jerusalem, 33 A.D. The vampires of the era have long sought to gain a foothold into Israel, but the faith of the local Jewish population has held them in check for centuries.
When one of their own betrays them to follow a strange young rabbi from Galilee, the elders of the vampire race dispatch Theron, a nine hundred year old assassin, to kill them both.
The rabbi's name is Jesus. Killing him should be easy.
So far it's really got me.

Finally started reading Three Cups of Tea, and can;t put it down. I am amazed by this man Greg Mortensen, what an inspiration he is.
The life of every man is a diary in which he means to write one story, and writes another; and his humblest hour is when he compares the volume as it is with what he vowed to make it.

I just started Pat Conroy's "South of Broad" over the weekend. I'm about 1/3 through it, and it is excellent.

I'm reading an interesting book on infidelity, "Husband and Wife." Imagine that! It is fiction and is about an author who just wrote and is about to have published a book on infidelity, when his wife finds out it isn't all fiction. The author of the book, Leah Stewart, must have been in a marriage tainted with infidelity. Her decriptions of the situation and feelings are amazingly right on target. Definiely not good for a new BS. I just started it and don't know where it will go.

I'm reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Love it so far.
I'm also in the last chapter of What Happy People Know. It's very good.

Outlander. It's the first of a series of romance/adventure/time travel novels.
The seventh (or is it 8th?) installment comes out in July of this year. And they are big books, too. I could be tied up for a while....
