She's Come Undone - Wally Lamb
I'm reading Lamb's This Much is True.
So far, I like it very much.
She packed up her potential and all she had learned and headed out to change a few things.

I'm in a reading frenzy because I'm between re-writes of my dissertation.
Just read the first two of Steig Larssen's The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo and The Girl who Played with Fire. I actually stayed up until 4:30 am reading during my vacation they were so good.
Right now, I'm reading Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese.
Very good so far. I loved his autobiography In My Own Country. One of my all time favorites.

Nearly finished with Julie Orringer's Invisible Bridge. Quite memorable. There's a quote on the inside cover comparing it to Chabon's Kavalier and Clay. I would definitely agree - many stylistic similarities.

I just finished Anne Perry's "Treason at Lisson Grove" - first Thomas & Charlotte Pitt novel she'd written in 3 years! Also just finished "Komarr" by Lois McMaster Bujold. I really enjoy both of those writers.
Currently starting one of the Tony Hillerman novels - I "discovered" him only recently and have enjoyed everything I've read so far. Let's see... it's "Coyote Waits."

I'm re-reading "The Law of Nines" by Terry Goodkind. He just had another book released on Tueday called "The Omen Machine", which was completely amazing! I read it in a few hours. I can't wait to read the next Richard and Kahlan novel!

I posted this book before, but it's a winner: Happens Every Day by Isabel Gillies. It's autobiographical and written by an actress who used to play the wife of one of the cops on Law and Order. It is empowering, but it's detailed and brings you right "there" a memoir worth the read. Give comments if yove read already.

She's Come Undone - Wally Lamb
I'm reading Lamb's This Much is True.
So far, I like it very much.
These are two of my very favorite books. I love Wally Lamb.
Right now, I'm reading a couple of books: Narcissistic Lovers (for edumacation), and The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks--which is wonderful. I'm also re-reading Stephen King's On Writing, which I do every now and then. It's the best book about writing available, and since I'm a writer, reading it is kind of like continuing education :)

I read The Host two years ago.
I am reading Water For Elephants. I like it, but I can put it down.

I just got a Galaxy Tablet...and it's enabled for both Nook and Kindle. So I'm in the middle of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" on the Nook, and "Pride and Prejudice" on Kindle.
I can't believe I have never read either of them before.

Just finished one of the Aaron Elkins mysteries, "Icy Clutches." His main character is a "bone doctor," interesting books, very engaging. I'm glad I found this author.
I'm reading one of the earlier Martha Grimes books now, "Man with a Load of Mischief." It's starting out pretty slowly, but I'm hoping it will pick up a bit soon.
