I am so sorry GMA that it looks like cancer.
I have 2 friends with sons who are currently being treated for leukemia.
One is 2.5 years post diagnosis and the other 1 year. Both are doing really well.
Childhood Cancer is awful, unfair and sucks, but some types of Leukemia are highly treatable. With survival rates of 90%. Although of course the treatment plan over 3 years is hellish.
Please don't lose hope. I will be sending prayers up for Nathan.
IF Nathan is facing a long term critical illness his parents may find it helpful to set up a Caringbridge site.
It is a website where they can leave news about Nathan and people can leave messages of support. It saves the parents having to re-tell he story and deliver updates again and again to different people.
Sending you all hugs and prayers.

Oh, honey. What a scary time this must be for all of you.
It sounds like Nathan is in a wonderful place if it does turn out to be leukemia. You and your family are surrounded by more love, support, prayers and well wishes than you could ever imagine. Hang in there. Sending you strength.
