out cold on the couch. Didn't move a muscle when I took her glasses off her.

I don't know why, but this instantly made me cry. Please thank Xena for her service from SisterMilkshake.

eta: HLN is going to have a story on the National Guard at the Marathon in a couple of minutes.

In honor of Xena and all the "helpers".

As long as I see helpers, I will know there is hope for us.

^^^ I second this....

A few days after this, and I am still so shocked.

I have seen things written like "this happens all the time in the middle east, why is this time so much more tragic, and why does it get so much more news"...with a related story attached to it that 31 people were killed and hundreds more injured.

I dont think it was any worse or better, but the fact is that there is a seperation between here and there - and there is a buffer that americans can just turn off CNN when news like this breaks in another country, now, its here too.

The thing i love about this country though is that we do not live in fear, and the quote is right "When you spot violence, look it in the eye and think, 'The good outnumber you, and we always will."

I am running the Dirty Girl Mud Run on May 18th....I will be putting the names of the victims on my shirt to honor them in my run. I am not sure of what else that I can do being so far away from Boston, they need to be remembered, and so I am just trying to do my part.

Photo's of the bomber have turned up on department store surveillance cameras located near the blast.

Your mileage may vary... in accordance with the prophecy.

Do not back up. Severe tire damage.

It doesn't sound like anything has really been confirmed. The news reporters seem to be being very cautious, as they should be.

CNN reports as of 1:46 PM today that an ARREST has been made.

CNN's report remains unconfirmed. The FBI's national press office says "we have not officially named anyone and we don't know where they're getting that information." Boston Police also declined to comment to HuffPost Crime, saying they don't know about the possible suspect.

There is media disagreement on an arrest:

I'm hoping the disagreement is only a matter of specifics - as in, they took a suspect in for questioning versus officially arresting them yet.

Listening to CBS radio.

They're saying a Person of Interest has been identified. No arrests.

News conference is scheduled for 5PM ET.
