My newest painting is getting a lot of remarks on various art sites. However, I don't have a title for it yet. Can you help? My basic thoughts were that we are poisoning our rivers, the lifeblood of our earth, plus they are being invaded by non-native plants and water creatures, like destructive mussels, giant carp, etc.

My son sees piano keys and red hot music.

My SO thinks zebra (obvious?) but he doesn't know how to explain the red.

What do you think?

My "working" title has been "Invading the Lifeblood", but I'm not 100% happy with that.

My inspiration? I was sitting on my patio, wearing seersucker shorts (a crime against the environment in itself), crossed my legs and suddenly "saw" the painting. I might add there had been wine involved.

The entire surface of the 24" x 36" painting is slick, almost wet-looking. It's all poured acrylic--pigment mixed with pouring medium.
