Karmita...i just wanted to post to your thread so i may kave a direct link for the future for myself...too many amazing quips and perspectives to loose as a valuable source for my future.

Really creative traces of life...schnapps and cranberry juice..becomes a 'redheaded slut'...so many future opportunities for laughter i see coming.

My WW's affair was facilitated by a female coworker with her 4 time married brother. The cu*t coworker told her best friend my WW, yes he was married before..'just didn't tell the WW he was married 4 times at about a 31 month average each time..until the new WW's settlements became a 'dry-hole' sort of speak.

We have R..but i still have PTSD flares...have been waiting to run into the cu*t sister or OM in a restruarnt like you have...i now have a full reperioire for the occasion(s)...up to 6 drink combinations for each so far.

LOVE YOUR STYLE MY LADY!!!!

Karmita, I love when you post an update and share how happy you are and how your life is good...

I also love to re-read the entire thread and giggle at my favourite stand out moments... Mr Butt Plug, Basement Boy, Ketchup Sandwiches, Redheaded Slut and of course the teenager asking Hauren if she was a tranny

Well hello there!

You have been an inspiration to many on SI - thank you for that. It's very therapeutic to pay it forward.

So...how's that little nephew of yours? Has he hit the terrible 2s? He must be a joy; I have five grandchildren very close in age (7, 5, 4, almost 3 and almost 1 - I have a thread in F&G - "Yay! Grandkid Pix!") - they bring me immense joy, but the cool part of being a grandparent (or aunt) is you get a respite - especially from the ones who range from 2-4.

Huge hugs, honey...and thank you for checking in.

Lala

Big hug to you Lalagirl and to your lovely grandchildren.

My nephew is cute as a button, and yes he's in his terrible two's. I'm the official auntie baby sitter, he's naughty but so cute I spoil him. My dog Stella is his best friend. The two of them are so funny together. My sister is preggers again and due in September.

Life is good!!!

That's so awesome that you get to be his caregiver when mommy works! And you know the old adage, "A boy and his dog..." (even though Stella is your dog, sounds like a bit of an adoptive process went on here ). Congratulations to your sister...and god bless her - being pregnant in the summer - the whole summer - is a bit daunting, but it will be well worth it in the end. Does she know the gender or is that a secret?

I babysit on my sister's date nights with her awesome husband. I encourage them to get away on weekend trips so I can get my nephew all to myself. They think I'm doing it for them but I just love this little one so much that it's really about me.

My sister is dreading the heat and being full on preggers through the summer. But she's the best Mom and if our Mother were here she'd be so proud of her. If it's a girl she'll be naming her after our Mom. She passed away when we young. My Dad has never remarried. He's our Rock.

Win-win!! As he grows up, y'all will be buddies. My girls are still close to and very good friends with a couple of their aunties. You'll be the "cool aunt" - and he'll confide things in you that he would not his parents...and it's great for a teenager to have a trusted family member to confide in and talk to so they're not getting it off the street from misguided teens.

((((HUGS)))) - I'm so sorry, Karmita; I did not know your mom has passed. What an lovely tribute to your mom should the baby be a girl. If not, there are names that can be "masculinized" (and vice versa)...just sayin'. Or, if it's a boy, name him after your dad?

My Christmas wish

I wish there wasn't a need for a place like this, but on the flip side thank heaven there's a place like this to share our feelings.

I'm sad that everyday there are people who post in "just found out" and that it seems as though there's no end in sight for the club no one wants to be in.

I guess that's why I keep coming back and update my story, a story among thousands of stories that have touched me, angered me, helped me, given me hope and shown me there are more good people than bad people in this world and that light is brightest in the dark.

This holiday season allow the light in and let it glow inside you let it carry you forward and give you strength.

Bless you all
