Okay, I'm going to stop whining about the 26 degree low tonight. Here in central Texas it's a big cold one day than 65 degrees the next. Hope it warms up and melts for you all soon.

It's a little cooler today (we can wear our sweaters!) along the gulf coast of Florida than the low 80's of yesterday, but we are watching the winter storm that our northern friends and family are dealing with.

Sending warmth and sunshine your way, and hoping you are all ok. Be safe.

I am DONE with winter!!!! However it's not done with me. It was 3 this morning when I got up, and now they are forcasting snow, and not just a little.

6-12" starting tomorrow night. This will seriously bring St. Louis to a screeching halt. Plus after that's done we get to see temps lower than they have been since I have had kids. Calling for -5 to -10 for lows, and a HIGH of 0. Yes you read that right 0.

I HATE BEING COLD!!!!! It makes my bones hurt.

I plan to get a roast, some movies, and a box of wine. I only hope my kids can behave and treat each other kindly for the next 3 days. At this point I think Christmas break will be extended through Wed. YIKES!!!!

Single digits here now, teens was the high today. Wind chill in the -5 range.

Walked to the car earlier today with the kids. Had recently taken a shower, didn't realize all my hair wasn't dry, and it froze walking to the car!

Kids thought it was hilarious!

Eastern Canada, we just made it through the snowpocolypse..lol.

Everything shut down at 1 pm (should never have opened). Buses stopped running, police pulled off the roads. You could not see a few feet in front of you. I shoved a ton of snow and the roads are still a mess today. A friend of mine was stuck at work because the buses shut down, so she had to stay in a hotel. It was a complete mess.

The high Tuesday is supposed to be somewhere around -15 here, with a wind chill of -50. Right now, we have 9 inches of snow not he ground with a predicted 8-14 more throughout the day and winds picking up. Right now it's warm-ish though. Right around 30.

It's probably about time. The last few years we've had very mild winters.

It's 79° and partly cloudy here today. By Monday Night/Tuesday morning we're supposed to have a freeze warning.

On Friday it didn't get above 48°...

I'm not loving this rather schizophrenic weather.

Not Teddy. I can't see Teddy being picky at all.

I know, right?! And poor Wh5, every time they come to visit he carries Teddy around like his little buddy

We're under a hard freeze for the next two days...20 is the low tonight and tomorrow night. The Mayor and our local council members are basically telling us all to not leave our homes since we're idiots and don't know what to do in the cold weather

I put an extra blanket in stray kitty's house on the front porch...I hope she'll be ok.

I was supposed to fly home from Houston to St. Louis this afternoon.

Then I looked at the forecast.

Southwest let me change my reservation for free, so I switched to Tuesday.

I hope my plumbing is ok.

Take care of yourself. There's a great future out there. It won't come to you; you have to go to it.
