So....I'm a runner. But, I can't run. My sister and I got in a fight and she is no longer watching my daughter. My alternative childcare (her nana) will have her until she starts daycare in a week. My daughter has had a nasty stomach bug for a week now preventing me from having the option to take her the gym and nana is too exhausted to watch her after I get off work....so I've gained about 3 pounds or so....and boy can my clothes feel it...

My jeans feel like a Picaso......painted on.

I can't wait to be able to workout again. I just don't feel like myself....and my stress outlet is exercise....BOO!!!!

	Okay.....rant over.

You can get Level 1 of the 30-day-shred on youtube for free - it's about 25 minutes and it's a really good workout. :)

I second fitnessblender! I love Kelly and Daniel! Jessica Smith also has a great indoor jogging workout. I know, I know, not the same, but still exercise!

I hope your DD feels better. Stomach bugs are the worst.

Check Craigslist for a treadmill (and other fitness gear). If you're patient and set your max limit, you can score good deals.

Hubby and I have purchased the following over the years:

Home gym (weight stations, etc) - $40

	Treadmill - $50

	Stationary bike - $20

Garage sales are good too, but CL doesn't require driving around aimlessly.

	Shelly,

How is Piper in a jogging stroller? Maybe you could see if one of your running buddies would let you borrow one?? They are kind of pricey and I think not worth buying since kids grow out of them so fast. If not, I'll bet you could find one on Craigslist or a secondhand store.

Watch Craigslist for treadmills. Esp this time of year, people are giving up on their resolutions and get rid of them. I have two that I got off of CL and paid less than $150 for both total. One is even a gym quality proform. I love it.

	Hope Piper feels better soon.

Get one of those running buggy thingies and take off....unless it is too cold where you are.

Then I suggest a little Zumba. It's fast paced and is actually fun. It's not the same as running, but for a rainy day (or bug flu day) it's an good alternative!!!

My treadmill was $100, hardly used. However, HEAVY. HARD TO MOVE. You may have to calculate moving costs into the cost of the machine.

Also, if it has been kept in a basement or garage, watch out for a mildew smell.

I don't want to discourage the craigslist option, just give you advice based on my experience. Mine is great, just needed extra cleaning and a tuneup.
