My daughter is going to be quite the well-traveled young lady this year.
She applied to and was accepted for two study abroad programs!
She'll be in Greece for 6 weeks this summer, then a few weeks later, she'll pack her bags and head to the UK for about four months in the fall!
Hmmm...that gives me an excuse to dust off my passport. I have to go visit, right?

WH#2 (SorryinSac)- Killed himself (May 2015) in our home 6 days after being served divorce docs.
XWH #1 - legally married 18yrs. 12+ OW (that I know of).

DD's housemate studied in the UK last semester. LOVED it!!!
Greece, too? How exciting! And of course you must visit!
DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

I haven't been able to sit still all day and I'm STILL grinning from ear to ear, lol.
I'm already looking at how much vacation time I've got left and thinking about various arrangements, hehehe.
This is such a cool opportunity for her. Yay!!!

If it's the height of summer, Greece will be hot, hot, hot. Cover up shirt and floppy hat.
And tell her there is more to the UK than London!!

I'm trying to recall the UK school (it is bookmarked on my home computer), but I'm pretty sure its University of East Anglia? The pics on their site were gorgeous and DD20 fell in love.
ETA: DD20 is more of a "country" girl than a "city" girl.
