Everything....my singing sounds so much better when the music is loud, loud, loud.

This morning it was Radar Love and Black Betty...i have no idea why.

Michael McDonald/Doobie Bros "What a fool believes"

I LOVE to sing at the top of my lungs to that song.

Also:

Any fun 80's song, most "hair" metal songs, and this summer I am IN LOVE with "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea. I crack that shit and sing it out.

My guilty pleasure is the complete Bat out of Hell record with Meat Loaf played from start to finish.

I crank Bon Jovi and Paul Simon when I'm vacuuming. I have to crank it to hear them over the noise! Without music, I would never make it through the vacuuming--which as you've probably intuited, I HATE!

When my daughter and I are on road trips, we crank the radio/CD player and sing along at the tops of our voices. Abba, Queen, Smashing Pumpkins. you name it, they're fair game. Our most recent rock-out is Gotye's "Someone That I Used to Know". OK, now I have that song in my head. Thanks, Sunnydaysahead!

"Bad Company" by Bad Company! WAY cool song!

I crank that version when it comes up on Hair Nation, or the Five Finger Death Punch version when it comes up on Ozzy's Boneyard. It is a great tune.

There's a lot of shit I like to crank up, I like sat radio enough to pay for the sub during the era of interweb musics. It doesn't get too loud anymore since my eardrums are all fucked up. Tesla's Modern Day Cowboy and Thin Lizzy's Whiskey in a Jar the other day.

Tempus Fuckit.

Sunnydays - Black Betty has an interesting history (@ a gun), you should check it out if you don't already know.

"Angry music" haha!

I had a song in the using-anger-to-detach phase:

Hoobastank - Don't Tell Me

It was perfect for my sitch, just. perfect.

Now, I "crank" Beethoven's 6th - I'm not kidding! I think it was the music that was playing when the world was made.

& Mozart's Figaro - so joyous! A companion-piece, as if it was the first replying song of awareness of what had been created (in the 6th).

good point, jjct- besides loving my rock "angry music", playing Bach's fugues on the piano is very cathartic when I'm upset- historical angry rock I guess...
