DD22 and I are getting ready to leave to go apartment hunting in NYC.
DD22 is selling her car to help with tuition and rent and all of the things that come with moving.
We have someone who is interested, took a test drive, would like the car for about 1500.00 less than what she is asking. She took her car to a dealership for buyout appraisal and it was about 1500.00 less than the private buyer. Private buyer is still interested. Can I ask for some car selling mojo for DD? She's flipping as well and goes from grouchy to crying in less than 60 seconds.
Also, we have not heard from her roommate-to-be, they are supposed to meet us in NYC this weekend. There is no way DD can afford an apartment in NYC alone. Can I have some roommate mojo too?
This whole ordeal has made me not want to be an adult anymore.
I know, first world problems 
I also know that I tend to worst case scenario everything but a little mojo would help ease my anxiety and SI mojo is the best mojo.

Norabird, I may pm you the closer we get to being in the city.
No word from the roommate, no word from the potential car buyer.
On a happier note, DD and I stopped by the local Habitat for Humanity Restore and she bought a chair! For $35.00! It's chartreuse velvet, club chair style with a tufted back. Very vintage, good condition, good investment for her.
She also put in for a couple 1 year sublets through the university, hopefully that works out.
Keep the mojo and prayers coming, we are both still hovering on the edge.

My DD wants to get an apartment in NYC! Maybe they can be roommates! JK, she's not ready yet, she's just starting to save her money. Wouldn't that be something, though?

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.
