Coming off a thread in NB...
I, DepressedDaddy, who recently became DepressedDaddy2.0--AKA DevotedDaddy--and now Sir Devoted Daddy, bequeathed upon me by Forged1, hereby devote this thread to shenanigans, tom-foolery and ridiculousness all around.
I have been hopped up (or down) on 40 y.o. Glenfiddich with Forged1 in everybody's neighborhood bar - O'Stereotypes for the last 2 days. We have had guests alike Amazonia, IrishLass, Heartbroken_kk and others join the party. Everyone is welcome to continue along this path.
BTW, say hello to Sam our bartender--Samuel by day, Samantha by night--when you arrive. He/She has been giving the eye to Forged1, but he saw right through that.

I've held a few seats for folks, however I think that shrimp cocktail is causing me to start to hallucinate...either that, or 2 days of drinking scotch is getting me crazy-eyed. The drink is waiting.

I've been on an IPA/strong ale kick for a while (oh hay a beer gut is so attractive on a wimmenz)... so how about this lovely dark but hoppy beverage from Stone, a wee bit south of me but still on the left coast. Damn I like beer. 
FBW then 46, XWHNPDPAFTG the destroyer of my entire life. D-Day 1 '99, D-Day 2,3,4,5,6... '09-'11, D '15. I fell apart. I put myself back together. Forgiveness isn't required. I'm happy and healthy now, and MY new life is good.

I stopped in for a pint and a small one on my lunch break and I was trying on his Jimmy Choos. Not that easy to find Size 12 Jimmy Choos in stores, y'know.

DD, before you suggest that drink please know that those of us who are regulars in S/D regularly advise newbies to not drink the Kool-Aid. 
And my game is about to start so please, please direct me to the big screen and I will have an order of chilli cheese fries please and a pitcher of whatever is recommended.
