I was kinda like "Game of Thrones went all "Walking Dead" for a bit.

I liked the episode and now I really really have to reread and see if there are any hi ts as to who exactly the Winter King is. For a moment I was leaning towards Benjen Stark, but the problems with the White Walkers (ahem zombies) had been going on before his disappearance.

The makeup and effects were well done imo. And poor widdle Cersie. I am concerned for Tommen tho

What an awesome episode. Just when I thought it was over it went on for another 20 minutes. They are definitely keeping the tradition of combining pieces of the story so it's not so spread out...but didn't see that coming until just as it was about to happen.

Was cool to see Wun Wun the giant go on a stomping frenzy.

Thought the same thing. GoT is a show just as much about the undead as WD is. Not sure who the Winter King is... Hmmm....

This episode was brutal.

I've always hated the Red Lady. Now I hate Stannis too. GoT is obviously riddled with difficult, violent scenes, but for some reason that one really affected me.

I loved episode 9. I think they really did the fighting pit scene justice.

I was really upset with the sacrifice. That makes me hope Stannis will be defeated in the battle for Winterfell even though I want to see the Boltons defeated as well. Maybe they will tear each other apart long enough for Petyr to bring in the knights of the Vale and finish them both. He had mentioned a similar strategy to Cersei.

I can't believe the season is almost over!

I can finally read this thread - we just caught up to the current episode last night . I've been avoiding anything GoT related to prevent spoilers, which is pretty damn hard to do. Love the series though.

I say not dead.

Also? How stupid would you have to be to kill that character and walk away from the body without burning it? Have they not been paying attention?

Well, it's taken me the better part of a week, but I'm finally emotionally recovered enough to post regarding the finale. And can I just say, BOO, HISS, and WTF?!

***If you haven't watched yet, stop reading here***

So it literally took Stannis *all season*, to actually leave Castle Black and march on Winterfell, and it culminates in a battle we don't even get to see? I feel cheated.

I'm mad at Stannis since the Shireen incident, but due to the cutaway I'm afraid Brienne got killed rather than Stannis.

What was Dany thinking?? 'I have no clue where I am, but I'm hungry, so I think I'll wander far (apparently VERY far) from my protective dragon and see how much peril I can get into.'

Arya. GO Arya!! The ending of her scene was really confusing, and intriguing.

Cersei's walk of shame could have been shorter. She's naked, it's humiliating, we get the point. To her it must have seemed an agonizingly long time, so I think they wanted us as viewers to feel the same way. But again I feel like valuable screen time was squandered when there were so many other plot points to address.

Okay, this is horrible but I shed no tears when Theon threw that bitchy girl off the wall. Ugh. She was horrible and won't be missed.

And the ending....I just don't have the words. One of my very favorite characters is apparently dead, though you never know with this show. So brutal. So horrible. I literally felt sick to my stomach by the time they did fade to black.

My SO is furious, disgusted and disappointed. He says he won't watch when it returns. I'm not ready to give up on it, but this whole season was a bit of a letdown.
