Sharing a lovely word picture with permission from the groom!

“So late afternoon (most probably midmorning for you) on Sunday the 3rd of November, my DD (actually I now need to call her my oldest DD, I have 2 now. Not sure if I ever told you that my adoption of Sunshine came through a good while back now) as MMS's bridesmaid, followed by Sunshine as the flower girl will slowly descend down the spiral staircase in our entrance hall and down the isle between the chairs set out in the wide, flowing area of our entrance hall, family room and out onto the patio. The chairs will be filled by all our friends, all good friends, ironically, all made as a consequence of my infidelity experience. On the patio, I will be waiting for "her" my bride, together with the marriage officer.

When the party up front is then almost complete, then my DS will be walking MMS down that same route. DS will then come and join me as my best man. MMS will join the girls.

A short while later, I will be transformed into the happiest man alive.

We then have the loudest party the neighbours have ever heard, and feast on the magnificent spread laid out for us by DDF's mom.

She says at last she has a way of demonstrating her gratitude for my helping DDF.“

I told him I am buying champagne for a Sunday brunch where I am to raise my glass to our good friend!

I cant be any happier for Oher. When I came here years ago, looking for a place to vent and help, i was sucked into Ohers dilemma. His story, his trials and him overcoming and excelling have been enlightening to me. I wish him all the best that life has to offer him and his new bride.

Ohfor just wrote me from the hospital after falling unconscious at home last night. His bride, MMS, promises nothing will get in the way of the wedding. I told him that even if he has to be wed from his hospital bed and join the fine party by Skype, it will still be a glorious day for his family.

I really don’t know if mental energy from all of us can do any good, but I am suspending doubt for the next few days. I hope you will join me in sending him well-wishes for a rally in time for this wonderful occasion.

Oh NO! Sending prayers for you, Ohfor, that the bed rest will help your strength as the Big Day approaches, and that you will be released and ready to celebrate your wedding in the way you, your MMS and your family want! Maybe it was just a cases of "bridegroom jitters," if I may coin a phrase? Regardless, I will be praying for your strength to return.
