I recieved quite a few requests for the backdoor number to the Sprint PCS voicemail system and I see there are other people who have #'s for other carriers so I figured Id start a thread for these numbers.
Sprint PCS-(267) 980-6245

I'll put in the one I have for cingular, But are these #'s for everyone across the country?
I am NOT phone savy (but I'm learning)...so I'm only asking, does each company only have one back door number?
Anyway, the # I have for Cingular is (817) 999-9302
**just discovered that you have to enter the #1 before you enter the password**

usually you use the prefix of your cell and then spell out the word M A I L
which ends up being 6245
so (000)000-6245 for any sprint or tmobile number to get to the back door voicemail.

Justlife,
I am a little confused about what you mean in your post. Does this backdoor thing only work if the person you are trying to get to the voicemail too doesn't have a password on their voicemail account?

Okay I have a question, I have to call cingular I guess to get the backdoor voicemail but how do I get his password it's not like he gave it to me and I don't want him to know I checked his vm if I change something by mistake. What do I do? I actually called that cingular backdoor number you guys have on here and I don't know if it's correct because I put in WH's cell phone number to see what would happen afterwards and it wasn't recognizing his cell number and I called cingular and they said his account is alive and well with them still. What now?

We changed my H's cell from Nextel to Sprint - added him to my plan - we ported over his Nextel #...If you try to call the (000)000-6245 it doesn't work..it goes to the Nextel service...it won't work with the ported #...so I called the # listed from JadedMusicWidow for Sprint..worked like a charm!

Works great! But how do you keep the message as a new message on sprint? Any ideals?

going2survive'
It works on Tmobile for sure but u need the password or you can try the diff password combos like they said - after you press*
or you can just leave a voicemail without the persons phone ever ringing. for example if you just wanted them to hear your message and not speak to them personally. I use it to do both.
I also use it to find out what service a person has it will say the sprint pcs or the tmobile or whatever phone you just dialed........
