12/23 - 1/1 are holidays for us. I'm using some remaining vacation days to take off the week of the 16th, so that means I'll be away for over 2 1/2 weeks
When are you done for the year? Or if you are working through the holidays, are there any bright spots you're looking forward to?

I'm an accountant. Part of my job is payroll.
My company gives extended time off during the week between Christmas and New Years, but I'll be there working.
I won't get any time off until mid march.

Our year doesn't end - it's just more of the same.
So this year we do not get Christmas Eve off as a holiday. Instead for some reason the holidays are Christmas Day and Dec 26th.
None of us are sure why.
So I put my vacation plans on our group calendar. I will work from home half a day on Christmas Eve then I will be out of the office on holiday or vacation through January 3.
After that it's anyone's guess as to how much longer I have. (As long as I don't get blindsided between now and then).

Well I am not sure how to answer this... since I am essential a 10-month employee and my work year runs Aug - May.
My holiday break is from 12/20 - 1/5. With Teacher work days on 12/20 and 1/6. Which is essential like not working since the kids aren't here!
