I think someone used it as Cheating Spouse on a thread I read recently, but that's the first time I've seen it used to mean something other than Child Support.

NPD = narcissistic personality disorder. It's a diagnosis, and means what it says. I think there is a whole thread in I Can Relate.

Dear Daughter or Darling Daughter.
ETA Many times people will say DD13 as in their daughter who is 13 years old. Or DD1 or DD2, for oldest daughter or second daughter. Most use the age though.

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

I've also seen DD used here for d-day, or discovery day. But what authenticnow said is the universal internet meaning for DD.

I always thought MO was modus operandi, or mode (method) of operation.
Married: 27 years (14 @JFO) D-Day: 11/09/11"Ohhhhh...shut up Tred!" - NOT the official SI motto (DS)
