@wanttohelp, I don't know about that, but I can say that we had a similar scenario here, and we still got some morels. I think they will still come up, but once they are up, that hot weather would dry them out super fast. So better get them quickly.

@jrazz:

Then she stuck her hand in the lemon meringue pie. Checkmate.

@HFSSC: OMG y'all look fantastic!

Thank you! We are feeling SO good.

(Jjct, well played sir.)

It was truly an honor and a pleasure to meet and be able to hang out with the Knights. They agreed to take this picture with me even after meeting me in the dead of night for beignets and running into me while I was on my third or fourth trip to the buffet at Dooky Chase's. (Just don't ask about the random "interesting dude" who took the pic, bless his heart...)

The Knights are shining examples of why you should always jump at the chance to meet fellow SI'ers, we have some pretty good folks around here. Btw, thanks to the Knights, I was about 100ft. away from Clapton rather than in a different Zip code- I owe them more than a few rounds of beignets for their kindness.

The thing is, the "They" in your question is really anyone who wants to throw one. I hosted my first G2G about 1.5 years into SI. One of the best things I ever did. Made friends/family for life that day. You just gotta throw it out there.

That's an awesome pic guys. Looks like Woodstock in the background.

Not even a smile after seeing Robert Plant and Eric Clapton? You are a tough nut to crack Jpapa.

Growing forward

Jpappa, eventually, someone's gonna get the true smile. What then? Great pic bro.

Knights, great pic. Doc, that's a friendly face doc, bet you would do well in pediatrics.

FP(ok, ascendant), the cape is appropriate for a super hero. Looking good bro.
