It's FRIDAY!!!!
My boss just asked me to spend next week in NY to cover for him at a conference
WH has the weekend off so we have some time to spend together

This is such a great idea and much needed tonight.
1. my sons, all three, but the middle one especially right now.
2. my granddaughter who makes me forget the pain when I am with her.
3. my friend for the last 40 years, my best friend
4. It is summer and it is warm
5. the flowers
6. my coworkers, they help me to laugh everyday and love me even when I am "not myself"
7. SI, this is a big one, my lifeline, all of the people that I connect with here.
8. my dog, total unconditional love, he knows when I hurt and loves me when I do
9. my sons dogs, the 2 of them that live with me now. In spite of all the hair!!! They cuddle with me on the couch
10. This new found respect and love for myself. It could be live changing.
I really do have so much to be thankful for. I need to remember this every day.

Thank you Jrazz for starting this thread.
1. My almost 15 year old son who called me yesterday from away camp to make sure we weren't involved in an accident that closed the Golden Gate Bridge. He was worried about me!
2. I was not part of above accident.
3. That we were able to take an amazing photo standing smack dab in the middle of the Golden Gate Bridge during the hour we waited for it to reopen so we could pick up our almost 15 year old son from away camp.
4. Found parking within a block of our favorite ice cream shop on a busy Saturday night.
5. The soft flannel sheets that wrap me up as I post here on SI.
Me: FBW, 50. Him: SAFWH, 59
3 fantastic kids: DS 18, DS 17, DD 12
DDay 1: 1/8/13, multiple DDays with TT for an entire year.
Working hard at R. No, strike that. I give up. We're heading for D.

Today's a toughie as DD4's allergies/asthma are acting up. I'm reminded in the tougher times that it's more important than ever to see the good things.
Today I'm thankful for:
1. Good asthma medication
2. Air Conditioning
3. Two nice family cars
4. My health
