A third explosion. They said this one was detonated by the bomb squad or some such as they found it.

Perhaps I understood the terrorists' motives of 9/11 if they were targeting our government, financial district, etc., but people just trying to enjoy life and do something healthy?? WTF????

ETA: I don't presume to know who did this or why. To me, one bomb could be faulty wiring, etc. Two+ bombs equals terrorism. All forms of injustice to innocent people confuse me and make me angry and sad. Sorry if I offended anyone..

we dont know who did this or how the explosions really came to be....all we know right now is that it hurt many people and probably killed some.

NBC live says that there was a third controlled explosion from the bomb squad disarming one, and that the Boston PD found two more bombs. Apparently it's still not safe.
Okay, they just said it again and that they have teams disarming the devices.

Just got a reply text from my sister, she is safe but understandably shaken. She was down the road a bit from where the explosions went off but said they were VERY loud and immediate chaos ensued. She's currently at a safe location, working with law enforcement, etc on getting home as she took the T in and it's currently closed.
