I have a couple feet of snow in my yard. It is -15 right now and predicted to be -27 by 7:00 am tomorrow.

Our schools (and surrounding area) were canceled today and are canceled for tomorrow too.

Another wonderful winter in Wisconsin!

I can't stand winter and this warm one day cold the next is killing me. Ugh, when is summer coming back?

I originally joined SI as a way to help my best friends find ways of coping with infidelity, but now infidelity has touched my family much closer to home.

Yes, sick of winter. An unprecedented 4 days of school cancelled because of the dangerously low temperatures and wind chill factor. We in Minnesota know how to do winter. We don't call school off for a few inches of snow. But, this is crazy. Below average temperatures for months now.

UGH!!!! The boy and the husband (who works outdoors) have been home because of the weather for 4 days straight now. It puts a damper on my routine, although I do enjoy having them around and I do enjoy that I get to sleep in. Just nothing is getting done around the house.

Another 12 inches here. With drifts, I was shoveling 2-3 feet in places...then add in the plow coming by (they rarely do our street) and burying two of the cars AFTER I had just dug them out .

No school, again, sigh... we'll be going until 4th of July to make up these days .

I give up. Winter, you win.

This week I had set aside to go south. Am I there? Nope. I'm still in Ontario, slipping and sliding through snow and slush and ice, because I'm waiting to see if my offer on a property has been accepted. If it is, I won`t be able to go next week, either, because that will be taken up with all the financial matters. Grrrrrr.........I`m like Grumpy Cat. I need me some Caribbean. And we haven`t even had it a quarter as bad as some of you poor people. I feel for you, I really do.

We got another 9+ inches of snow here yesterday. It made driving home from work really fun.

Because you know, we can't possibly close our office for NON ESSENTIAL blood work.

I had ONE patient yesterday. Yeah it was SO WORTH IT to be open.

I hate winter. I'm so over it.

Talked to my sister in Indiana yesterday. At that point they had gotten 10 inches. No school that day. School has been closed so much this winter that they are going to have school on Saturday to make up the day(s) missed.

I hate summer.

But this is ridiculous.

I'd rather be burning my ass off getting into a 200 degree car that has been sitting in the sun than trying to get up the small slope to my garage with "all weather" freaking useless spinning tires.

There is nowhere to put all this snow in a city where everyone is right on top of each other.

I love fall. Can't wait for fall.

My go-to NOAA forecaster is predicting that the suckiness will continue for the next week or so, but a major shift is about 10 days out that could last for several weeks. We're talking MAJOR shift - like temps in the 50's (we're all the way up to negative 6 at the moment). He's also predicting significant rainfall for the West Coast, which is sorely needed.

If NOAA dude is right, I will name my next pet after him. Once I figure out his name, of course.

NOAA dude is toast.

Snow, freezing rain, sleet, snow - all within the last hour! And another 3-6 inches of snow still to come today.

Calgon, take me away!

I thought this week was supposed to be relatively mild, but now it looks like we're getting up to 5" more snow tonight. So very sick of it and can't figure out where to put anymore...

It is supposed to get above freezing for 3 days in a row this week, finally...

I'm done here; sick of 2 x 4s
