Count me in with those sick of winter. I can't stand winter anyway. Don't like cold. But this winter has been brutal with the temps. Had enough of those 30 years ago when I lived in Toledo. Someone at work said it was freezing outside and I said I wish it was that warm. We're barely supposed to crack high teens/low 20s for the next week.

<sigh> Is it spring yet?

These are the ruffwear ones. I have the pack for my GSD. It's made very well. I've read good things about these boots on a GSD forum.

OMGosh, your pup is gorgeous! The booties and matching pack are just too cute too!

I'll have to post a pic one day of Max with his blue booties and hoodie! It's too warm here now for that.

Have you seen the video compilation of dogs who just cannot handle their booties? It had me in tears.

Oh my goodness! What gorgeous doggies.

Count me in on being sick of winter.

I'm in Iowa. Although we haven't had much snow, the cold has been brutal this year. It was -5 this morning and right now it's +5. Today the winds have been calm, but we have had days when 50mph winds were the norm. YIKES!

We live on an acreage with two English Mastiffs who are wimps in this weather. They chew off boots and coats. And since the ones in their size are so expensive (if I can find them) they are not getting any more.

I also have 7 horses here to feed and care for every day. So insulated coveralls, ski masks and tank heaters are among my favorite things right now.

Tomorrow they are call for 54! Oh glory day!!!

I'm sorry but Lucy the Lab would not be content to wear these. Good news tho it was a whoppIng 5 degrees when I got home this afternoon when I got home and she found it warm enough to roll and play for a few minutes. I suspect she was having a similar experience to the tongue on the flagpole thing this mOrning.

TomOrrow morning it's expected to be 2. Which is 2 degrees warmer than this morning. Oh and good news. More mother fu@&Ing snow tomorrow night!

I despise cold weather! No snow but schools are being closed due to extreme cold temps. It's just too dangerous for the kids to stand out and wait on a bus, which might run late. I can deal with the 112 degrees in summer but this extreme cold sucks.

He LIVES under there?! He wasn't just passing thru?! Oh no. Hell no! I'd move. Sorry DS.

Here, it's understandable, but snow and ice in Houston......that's just not right.

Growing forward

DS,

I thought Mr. Slithers moved away?? Maybe he can come live in my barn? Since it's been so cold, the mice have moved into my barn and into my hay. It FREAKS ME OUT every time I pick up a bale of hay and they scurry off. YUCK!

I'm not a huge fan of snakes. But I hate mice more. And snakes eat mice = good. Plus, I have never had a snake run up the INSIDE of my pant legs. OMG! I HAVE had mice do this. I will rip my clothes off so fast! And I don't care how cold it is, or who is there.
