While his wife might receive quite a bit of money, it doesn't negate the feeling of betrayal, lack of self-worth, destroyed family, shattered dreams, and potential STDs that accompany an affair. I'm sure the money helps to soften the blow, but I'm sure she'd trade the money for him to not have cheated on her.

I would have gladly given up all my earthly possessions to not have another man screw my wife.
Granted, it's not billions, but I would chose poverty over infidelity any day.

It's true that infidelity is a horrible thing and hits everyone hard - rich and poor alike.
One thing that is a bit easier if you're really poor is there are no assets to fight over.
However, it does help if you can afford to live on your own and many cannot. It is so much more difficult to maintain a home on one income, especially if it's in the lower bracket. Very few people come out of divorce financially whole. It's what keeps some people in an unhappy marriage with someone they cannot trust. Financial freedom does have its perks.

Yes the infidelity is bad. On the other hand, splitting 137 billion is actually 67.5 THOUSAND Million dollars.
$67,500,000,000. That could assuage a lot of bad feelings.

She owns 23 and me so she's doing pretty well w/o his money, but I'm sure sticking it to him is a priority for her and getting 67.5 billion ain't a bad way to accomplish that. I wonder how much spousal support would be?

Well, I’m being a bit catty and if she weren’t an OW I wouldn’t say it or care - but I think she looks like a drag queen. The wife looks like a natural beauty.

I hope she puts him to shame and does good works with her fortune. That man could cure hunger in this country tomorrow and still be rich beyond anyones dreams. Not since the pharoahs have we seen this level of excess. It doesnt surprise me that he acts like a king, mistresses and all. Where is Teddy to break these monopolies and their princes?
