Man it sucked having to call her up and apologize.

Of course it did. It shows you are still carrying around a lot of rage, which if anyone can understand, it should be your ex. YET! You did the *right* thing here, the admirable thing. You acknowledged you were wrong (which has to be tough with her, I bet). It's the mature thing to do. Even this small thing will help move the needle from rage to indifference. It's a very worthy goal.

But I gave her ammo to use against me. She'll go around to the family saying I'm a raving paranoid lunatic.

Also need to update everyone that my daughter's 16th went off without a hitch. I spent the day cooking (which I really enjoy) and there were actually two moms on hand to chaperone. The two manicurists were a hit. The girls loved that. After I did the cooking I didn't have to do anything. I went in the back and hung out in my office and watched TV and when I came out the two moms had already gotten all the dinner dishes cleaned up. So then we did cake and ice cream and the ladies cleaned all that up too. I didn't have to do anything.

I had coffee and pastries for the parents coming by to pick their girls up the next day. Nothing but compliments from everyone.

Not a peep from the STBXWW.

Morning Brother,

Great the sleep over went well, good memories last a life time.

As Shockedmom said, protein shakes! Training is great, hones the mind and body; however: shit in shit out. Eat to maintain your training. Weight loss is great, but don’t over do it and suffer any malnutrition, that is bad for your health long term.

Understandable your mind jumped to your stbxWW, but you weren’t thinking straight due to not eating correctly and are going through a D. Lesson learned.

Yeah I am drinking three protein shakes a day now and I feel much better. I am considering doing the carnivore diet. Has anyone tried that?

I did it for a month. Felt really good. Then did some reading and realized I did not need to be quite so strict to get the benefits

Check out the P:E Diet by Ted Naiman

Or just watch his YouTube lectures "Diet" and "Burn Fat, Not Sugar w/ Ted Naiman",

Yeah. There is a guy in my BJJ class that is doing it and he says he has gained a lot of muscle mass. But I like my veggies. I don't want to give those up completely. I dunno.

You need to keep your diet balanced. 1 serving of raw vegetables and 1 serving of raw fruit per day is great.

Amazing at how it shows up in you blood work. I couldn’t believe the affects.

If you are consuming that much protein, you are at a risk for constipation.

Make sure you drink a lot of water, and your love of vegetables is important.

Cabbage and collard greens are both great to integrate into a high-protein diet.

And you know what? Go get yourself a nice steak, you deserve it and it might brighten your spirits.

I did the carnivore diet (no carb). It's really a Way of Life but to me it is a great way to "Reset" your body to prep for a change in diet, say for going Keto. You won't have to give up your veggies but one of the great benefits of going off 30 days of all carnivore is you can slowly introduce veggies and carbs back into your diet a little at a time and determine what gives you inflammation or unusual reactions (like rashes, joint paint, insomnia, etc.) which have been masked in the past.

The good: Better sleep, longer period between feeling hungry (in fact makes it easier to do intermittent fasting), less trips to the bathroom, more energy, glorious amounts of bacon, eggs, salmon, primerib, etc.

The bad: Your bowel movements will concern you at first (like you have clogged plumbing) but this will settle out in a couple of weeks. The #2 will be more "leaky" at first till your body ajust. There is this thing called the Keto Rash, which is supposedly indicating when your body is kicking in to using ketones more for fuel. Looks almost like miniature version of chicken pox. I read Riboflavin (B2) helps manage it as your body is reacting to the ketones. Not everyone gets this rash so you may be lucky.

One of my personal benefits is meeting a 33 yr old who thought I was 42yrs old, then told her I was actually 50. She was surprised, then still wanted to go on a date with me. Apparently going carnivore helps put a bit of youthful "glow" back into you.

Anyway, lots of good info on youtube. Look into keto as well to possibly transition out of carnivore. I still do carnivore as regular maintenance but alter it some. Walmart sells a veggie pack called the superblend that has all the good veggies that keto folks like and I use that for my carnivore chili. I also add in cheese, butter, sour cream since they are by products of cows.

Hope that helps some.

Be careful. Right now you are holding a lot of crap over her head. She obviously is using you and probably doesn't care at all about you.

She'd be happier as a grieving widow than an Italian woman with a reputation for banging black guys.

What's to stop her from spinning some lies to her daddy's old friends about how you abuse her. It would work out far better for her if you were dead.

Just saying.....
