And I don't know why this has to happen now to you. I don't know why any of us has to bear this extraordinary pain. I am hoping it is all for some good somehow. I lost some kitties at awful times in my life and I know how crushing it is. You feel your only light has gone out and you are now alone in the dark. The heaviest sorrow is pressing down on you.
It's hard to walk that path alone. I have done it and it's the hardest thing I have faced. You are not alone. We are with you and will always be here for you.
Sometimes I think I cannot do it again. But life teaches us that we can rise from sorrow eventually and give our love to another dear companion. Love is endless, the more we give, the more we have to give.
Keep some little thing to be glad for in every day. For me it was some flowers, some fresh bread and fresh fruit, the sunrise and the first stars to come out. Just something to be here for you.
Thank you everyone for your wisdom and healing.

I'm so sorry. It's so hard to say goodbye especially when it's sudden. Our fur babies bring us so much love and comfort and we return that when they need it. You did everything you could.

A man or woman telling the truth doesn't mind being questioned.
A liar does.

So very difficult. Especially when we are not ready to say goodbye.
I have a soon to be 11 yo lab. She had a cancer scare in Feb and an actual cancer removal thos summer. She is one of many wonderful dogs I have been very lucky to have loved. She is a sweet silly naughty girl. And I can't even think about when her time comes and I need to. I love this dog waay more than any in recent history. I also know my 9ldest is particularly bonded with her. When her time comes i may need therapy. (I am not joking)
I am soooo sorry for your loss. May happy memories give you peace and happiness during this terrible time.
Please take time and give yourself permission to grieve this loss.

Yes, it is just as you say.
You saved her from a life of hunger and being attacked by other animals. She was spared from the fire. She had the best life she could have with you. I'm sorry she couldn't stay.
Thank you everyone for your wisdom and healing.
