Dear PageantMom,

Our coworker's name is Mike. He's over 40 years old. Calling him Mikey, when referring to him being sick today or being in the warehouse just makes him sound like the "Mikey will eat anything" commercial.

Sincerely,

Office Eavesdropper

P.S. I make up nicknames for all offensive office personnel because I talk to DH daily about them & he's not good w/names.

Dear BugLady,

I know you & your benthic samples are stuck out in the warehouse office. Please be patient. We can't help that a booster needs to be added between your CAT5 cables for your new VOIP to work (we just got the T1 last week & AT&T isn't very responsive to helping us fix it). Telling COMPANY-MAN about it daily won't get it fixed. And, yes I'm sorry that HEALTH&SAFETY was on vacation and he's our only CAT5 cable stringer. Please quit messing with the network card settings because you think that I'm a dumbass & don't know how to set them....been fixing IT's crap for about 10 years, since previous employer thought it fun to have our IT dept in Florida & our office in Tennessee. We only have IT which we call in for emergencies at @$80/hour. Do U wanna pay him to do it, I sure don't?

Quit ranting & raving within earshot of me. Your shrill voice is killing me.

Also, you are usually a nice, polite young scientist. We still like you, just quit complaining @top of your lungs.

And, it is just a fluke that one of two other PCs in the warehouse actually works w/long CAT5 run...I'm sorry it wasn't yours. When his didn't work, he brought his crap upstairs to main office & printed his FedEx airbills here...never heard another word about it.

Thanks,

Deaf from Noise

Dear people I roleplay with online,

Seriously, for real....its just a game. Calm down. Step away from the computer, go outside for abit...get some air...there is an actual world...not just a virtual world. Getting mad at 'pixelated people' is completely ascinine in my opinion. And arguing with me about a storyline...MY storyline...and calling me names because of my storyline that does not AFFECT you and is historically accurate...is not going to make me change my storyline...so..in the immortal words of DIS...fuck off.

SIncerely,

Dear messy office,

I've been way to busy to clean you up lately. Now, I have a mountain of papers to file from the last two quarters. Is there any way you could just go ahead & file for me? I'd be so grateful. I'd even be willing to smuggle in some framed artwork from home, to make you look nicer.

Sincerely,

I really wish you hadn't gone out of business

Dear Girl at new Eye Dr's office,

Setting me loose in the store and telling me to pick something, isn't really helpful. When I do pick something, don't just say it won't work and take me over to the frames that cost twice as much. I don't need expensive designer frames
