I'm taking some web design courses and looking at Wordpress because a veteran web person told me that's the future of web stuff.
So looking at some pages, quite apart from the SHEER VOLUME of the blogosphere, I'm slightly overwhelmed by how many social media buttons are on people's stuff now. Seriously, how many portals do we really need? 
It's like they're self-replicating now, every time I turn around there's a new one...

Me. Facebook, Pinterest and Google+. But I rarely use Pinterest I find it overwhelming. I use Google+ mostly as a picture hosting site. I'm on Facebook regularly.

I don't know how to do anything else.
I do have a Pinterest account but have no clue how to use it.
My DS had to sign up for Twitter for a class project... but I don't think he uses it much. I do limit his screen time and he doesn't have a phone smart enough to support Twitter or FB or anything else.

Youtube- never post, mostly watch just for playlists of music vids
Google+- never post, it's only linked to my youtube. I literally have no one in my circles.
Not including SI, that's it.

Pinterest (about 1x daily, but I just use it to bookmark recipes, and don't follow many people I know, and don't give a rats ass if anyone follows or repins my stuff, and I'm constantly unfollowing all the crap people keep adding. I really only want to see the recipes, and then, only the ones that are I might actually make. This replaced a lot of my blog reading.)
LinkedIn (about 1x weekly)
Feedly, which really isn't social media, but I use it to aggregate all the blogs I read (1x daily)

I can't remember the last time I checked my google+ page. Twitter I occasionally check through the HootSuite app on my phone, but it's probably been a month or so, at least. LinkedIn I checked regularly when I was job-searching, but have pretty much ignored it since I started this new job in October.
I am on Facebook and Pinterest (and SI) daily. I've considered doing Tumblr, Instagram, and reddit, but haven't gotten around to creating accounts yet. I have 2 email addresses that I check on a daily basis (mostly on my phone), and at least 2 others that I look at whenever I get around to it.
My blog is now on Wordpress, although I started it on blogger. I do not have any social media links on it, because the blog is done under inconnu, and not my real name. I've thought about setting up a twitter account for inconnu to try to get more followeres for the blog, but right now I don't really have the time to write, much less try to keep up with social media for my alter-ego.

FB - way too much

LinkedIn - only when someone I'm linked to does something and I get an email about it
Google+ - still don't really get it but I have an acct there
Pinterest - same as google+
Blogger - have a blog that I used to post to daily, but when I moved to take care of Dad, I abandoned it...
I haven't explored instagram, tumblr, reddit, etc
A lot of this would have to change if I launch my biz in 2014. I'd need to get accts for that biz on each of these social media and somehow link all of them so posts would show up everywhere to lure/drive people to my actual website. Yeah, that'll happen...
