Missing since early afternoon after going hiking. It is now 2 am his time. His Army buddy went searching and we now have both civilian law enforcement and the military involved. Something is wrong.
I don't know how much more I can take.....

Oh, Phoenix. 
I don't know what to say, but I wanted to post to let you know I've read your message and will be thinking of you. And of your poor son, who's been through so much in the last few weeks.
I know that all here who read your message will, like me, be fervently hoping that he'll be found very, very soon - safe and well.

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.
