I'm so glad you see safe.
If,and when, he is released, all of you will need to make sure you go to great lengths to protect yourselves. For men like your husband, a RO is simply a piece of paper.
I dont say this to scare you. But, as I read his posts, he reminded me of my father. It was eerie. He was all about control. He was extremely abusive. An abused woman is in extreme danger when they leave their abuser. My father killed my stepmother, and my sister. She was leaving him.
Please consider arming yourself. It's terrifying, but you must do everything you can to protect yourself. And the kids.

She can only get a rifle or shotgun in the UK, Hellfire. With licensing and I don't know how long that takes.

Very happy to see you safe.
This is hard on the kids--no doubt. They are having to challenge everything they ever thought about their dad, and even as adults, it's tough.
Hopefully his time in a "gated community" as we call it, will give them the space they need to process and heal.
I hope you and the gang are continuing your IC. It will be very helpful in providing you with tools as you navigate all of this.

Yes of course (((big hugs Scooby))) and it's that same love that moved you through to get shit done today. The shock isn't going away anytime soon but as long as a mama is in.. well, mama mode your strength will continue on. For your kiddos and for yourself. Hold on to it. You're an incredible woman, I see nothing but power in you.

Just saw this and nearly wept with relief. He is unable to harm you, your children or himself. Having him arrested was the best choice for all of you.
Hold your kids close. Let them talk it out and maybe have a counselor start a session for all of you together. Time, counseling for all and a solid legal system will help your healing.
